I've never used them personally, but Intercity seems to be highly respected around here and they are the exclusive shipper of the Carrera GT so they can't be all bad DAS has been recommended to me, although I have a friend who shipped two cars from CA to NC and had some minor issues with them.

I've used DeMoise Trucking to ship my 993TT from CA to TX and another car from CA to TX. Excellent service, on time, flexible, competitive, no issues, no damage and of course no affiliation just a happy customer. If you call ask for Bill DeMoise.

Good Luck!

DAS is horrible, spend the extra couple hundred and go with something a little better like intercity or fedex.

My neighbor just had a 1998 Lincoln LSC CE transported from TX to NC by Horseless Carriage, an enclosed carrier. Very competitive rates and on time.

I'm right down the block from you in SoFla. I had my 930 shipped from San Jose to Brickell Avenue in December with Intercity. Awesome service and the car arrived early and in perfect condition. Price was $1995.00 but well worth it. PM me if you'd like more information.

We have used several and would never use anyone BUT Demoise or Intercity. Both are class acts with NO DRAMA.

Thanks everyone. It seems Demoise is a consensus. I'll give them a call.
Even though it now seems that the seller is backing out of a closed deal.... I may be back to start on my search for my 993.....
Thanks again.

G & L Transport in Florida did a good job for me for the Charlotte Parade, for a lot less money than Horseless Carriage, etc. I got their name from a local high-end car broker who uses them all the time with good results. TT Fred.

I recently shipped my M3 from Clovis, NM to Nashville, TN and used FedEx. I couldn't have been happier with them. They picked up the car when they said they wood and had it to my house the next day. They were also the least expensive of my quotes for enclosed shipping. Tried to use Thomas C. Sunday to ship the M3 as they advertise heavily in Porsche mags, but they jerked me around on the pickup date (called the day it was to be picked up and they told me it would be another week or 10 days), so I won't use them again despite otherwise good reputation and reasonable rate.

I also used Concours Transport for my 993 five years ago and they were great.
