Default Show us your...................big miles!!!

Gotcha! Hans (Jo-Hans) sent me this pic a while ago. This rather large number (124300ish miles) is on a 97 C2 with nothing but regular maintenance (no top end). Car doesn't burn oil and drives like a (well sorted) car with 1/10th the miles. Let's see some pics of other high milers. Please note what kind of work the car's had.

135K No rebuild, just regular maintenance. For some reason, new transaxle was installed at 50K miles. Others who have driven it say it drives like a 20K mile car...

I've been absent for a long time here so this looks like as good a spot as any to start over.... I am nearing 178,000 now. But that is about all I'm going to see as I'm putting it up for sale now.

Hey BS911, good to see you posting.

BTW, we're suppose to be meeting on the 17th in RKV for the annual Spring meet-n-greet.

Don't have a Pic, but my 993 is at 105k but looks and drives like new. My 968 has almost 220k, but is beginning to show it's age.

~134,500 on the C4S, ~125,000 on the yellow car. Can I figure out how to snap a photo of both of them somehow when I'm up at the track Sunday????

Bottom line here is that, absent an odometer, how many could really, really tell the typical 80K 993 from a 150K one? I popped the 44K odo from the wrecked RSA race car into the (then) ~135K RSA for a gathering one time. Got many comments on how lucky I was to have a low miler, and in what great shape it was in........................................................

104K here, nothing special. Motor hasn't been touched, Mobil 1 15-50 used for the last 10 years. Got a leak down test of 1-3% all around when I bought it with 101K miles.

Getting to a big number...
Now at 199,000

Sorry for bad pic....It was taken while driving to work this morning via my dumbphone.

OK, OK its not the Pcar, but the trusty 1-owner DD Honda Civic that is approaching its 18th birthday. Trusty except for the screaming transmission.....but that's been there for about 40k miles

The 993 is at 104k. My prior 911 was purchased with 175k on the clock, so I've got no worries about the 993 going the distance!
