Default Anybody selling a tastefully modified 993 c2s or c4s?

I'm looking for a properly maintained example owned by an enthusiast who is willing to sell the car for a realistic price. The car must have had top end work, clutch, brakes (i.e. the major services), no accidents, issues, etc. Prefer light mods (suspension, updated bumper/aerokit, exhaust, litronics, carbon). No tips. Color preference is no red, yellow, or greens. No track time.

If any of you fit the bill, let me know. The car will not be a garage queen, so I do not want or need a car with less than 40K miles.

I have seen a number of these sell in the low thirties to very low forties. I wasn't serious enough at the time, and a couple of interim cars later, I am ready to do it. (Before car ADD sets in for the umpteeth time)

Thanks in advance for any leads.

Thanks Ronnie. I agree. That car is very nice. I like most of the mods. Price is about $10K higher than I'm willing to spend on one with that mileage and set up.

Low mileage, well maintained for low thirties to very low forties? A rare find for sure.

Cars in the low thirties had much higher mileage but had been maintained. Cars in the $40-42 range had lower mileage, were well maintained, and decently set up.

Just bought my C4S in the low $40's but needed some upgrades including brakes and clutch.

Keep that in mind when sticking to a price...if you want a good example, you should keep in mind the costs associated with making it right.

In the end a great car may cost you a bit more, but it will be well worth it and you will forget about the incremental cost the minute you drive it.

My 97 C4S is for sale at $41,500. Just hit 50 thousand miles. Black/Tan. Sport seats, factory turbo tail, Lowered with bilsteins. Turbo twists, factory porsche radio with navigation, built in front and rear radar, all services done and all paperwork included. Its not a garage queen - but it is nice!

That what you were looking for? Its listed in the for sale section above.

I have to admit - Ive had many requests for photos (probably 30) but no actual buyers. Im getting sick of sending photos - so if youre serious about the car. I'll send some.

177, I can't promise you anything except that I'm a serious buyer. I think it would be worth it if you sent me pics. I'll shoot you my email address and a few questions via PM.

Curious why you wouldn't want a car that hasn't needed top end work? I can sorta understand wanting a car that has had the clutch done but most cars driven properly don't need a clutch before 70k + miles.

I guess it's the fear of the unknown. These are 10-11 year old cars with multiple owners. If I'm looking at a car with 50-60K miles, it will need a clutch soon. As to the top end rebuild, from my research and feedback I've gotten on this forum, it seems that the rebuild, including a changing of the seals, is likewise inevitable. Since I plan to drive the car instead of garage it, I don't want to do the rebuild within the first year or two of ownership. I'd rather save the money and put it into rims...

Bobby, where are you located?

There is a 97 C4S that is pretty clean and its owner is thinking of selling. Let me know if you would like more information. Silver/grey example, 45K miles.
