Another 993 on the way out

And if the car has been well taken care of, don't give it away.
At that high a mileage, you might consider taking it back to a more stock condition and parting out some mods (I like the RS bits, hint hint)

Sorry to see it go Brian. That's a good platform for someone wanting to build a DE car. Do you have an asking price in mind yet?

Hey Tony... David is selling too? I moved up to Hagerstown a couple years ago so haven't passed him in ages.
Since so may people have asked - and because it might help the archives and search function in the future - I've figured to account for the great unknown of the clutch, the general wear and tear with the miles, the fact that the rear tires are getting a bit old (not enough for me to replace them quite yet, but old enough to factor into the sale price) I'm thinking $15k. Based on prices out there right now I think I'd have a hard time pushing for much more than that. It seems that low 20's gets you a 75,000 mile to 100,000 mile 993. I need to factor in some refresh cost to be equivalent to that. That and I don't want to spend a year selling it. Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm foolish.

$15k sounds to me almost like giving it away. Some kind of reassurance of valve guide condition would be a bon to you - leakdown & compression check, documented oil usage. Other big expenses would be clutch, steering rack, etc. Any of those you could document to be okay should let you raise the price just a little.

Brian, provided a decent PPI, I'm sure many here will agree it's priced to sell today. I wish I could step up but timing is bad. The car is perfect for a project I have in mind. Best of luck with the sale and thanks for your contribution to RL over the years.

Hi Brian
So you have finally decided to bite the bullet and sell.....I have missed seeing you on the "old route" but since mine has not plied that way in nearly two years you would not have recognized me anyway!! Yes I am "considering" parting with mine.....I just do not get the time in the seat anymore and its a lot of money to have tied up in the garage - according to my wife that is!!! hahahaha
Hope the family are well
