Default GIANT fight with wife, I think the c4s has to go

I just can not take one more day of her giving me a hard time about the 50k toy that gets driven 2k miles a year. I know everyone will say get rid of her but we have two kids under 3.

I think I have two options, sell the car or get into a higher millage c2. I will post a for sale/trade listing tomorrow after I take some current photos. I purchased this car about 1 year ago at the height of the market with only 20k miles, so I am sure I will take a bit of a betting. The truly sad thing is I have some great parts that never even made it on the car(x-pipe, pss9's, and tons of stereo gear).

Remember, family IS the most important thing and...it's cheaper to keep'er, the wife, not the car.

Too bad, really, but no matter how big a loss you take on the C4S it'll be cheaper than divorce and child care and all that stuff. So, sell me your car really cheap. OK?

Sorry to hear it.

But if you sell at a loss and then "downgrade into a higher mileage C2" won't you get the same sort of argument: "Why do you have a $25K car sitting in the garage after you sold your $50k car for so cheap?!?! I wanna divorce!"

Do what Trinitony says. And wait for a few more years and then sell it.....

I'd remind her that you would lose money, possibly a considerable amount, as the market has changed drastically. Also state that no matter where you had invested your money last year, you would probably have taken a loss. I don't think "downgrading" ( I hate this term when comparing WB to NB) would change the situation that much.

As you and others have said though, don't let a car wreck your marriage.

If you are not having money problems and can afford to keep your car then I would question your marriage.

Default Refer to the post on "How to get my 993 to go fast?"

I think your wife is the answer to that question.

What if you drive it more? Will that make a difference?

+1. That said, I also second that family comes first and as special as these cars are, they are replaceable.
