I put the 993 on the truck today. It's now off to it's new home in NYC with Jos. Somewhere I have a photo from a few years back of Jos' old car and his new car side by side, I need to dig that out. And I'll try and find time to do a couple pics of the SL63.
While some my sneer at a car with no clutch, I'm extremely happy with the SL. It's significantly faster and significantly more comfortable than the 993. I still have the Turtle for pure performance and the SL is great fun to drive over the mountain and back each day for work.
