Cactus, CITGO is owned by Hugo Chavez...I'd rather walk than buy gas from him!

+1 on not buying CITGO.

Around here, (western Pa) seems like most stations don't even say if they have ethanol or not? The mom and pop station on the corner from me puts a big banner on thier sign "ethanol free gas" but I just don't trust those hick's.

I only use Shell 93 or (here in central N.C.) Texaco (Chevron formula) 93. We don't have Chevron here but the Texaco station pumps (verified with owner) say "Chevron Techron formula'.

Car has a 20oz bottle of Techron in it as well at the moment, I do that every 5k miles.

Colorado (for the most part) only has 91 octane. However, I've found a gas station that sells racing gas 100+ octane that I mix (5 or 6 gallons) with the 91 octane.

I'll throw whatever 93 octane I can find into it from name brand stations. I tend to avoid Hess and Citgo for whatever reason. No reason at all, but I prefer shell, sunoco, and BP.

Don't worry about 10% ethanol, it shouldn't have any significant on the health of your vehicle.

Another point: Don't run any more octane than your car has been tuned for (93 at max). The extra octane is completely useless unless you advance the timing.
