I like it.
Of course, I'd call it what it is....the living room and not "the garage". But then again, I'm single......And I'd definitely be single forever if that was my living room....no woman would ever want to move in!
Of course, there would be a real 3-door, double-deep garage somewhere where else in the house.... (come on, this is fantasy land anyways, so I might as well make it good!)

Actually, my dream house has always been a country place with an attached hangar and a clear wall in between.
I'd sit in my living room, enjoying a good single malt, and look out at my 993, a Waco Taperwing, a Mooney, and a bevel drive Duc.
Maybe that would make me a Super Douchebag, but at least I'd be a happy one.

Its kinda cool and kinda sad at the same time.
My garage has been called "garagemahal" but at least it full of tools, cars motorcycles etc. It is a fantastic space to wench in. Most mechanics would consider it too clean. It makes the time spent wrenching enjoyable.
For parties I have double doors that open to pool table and bar. For my taste I have the ultimate garage.

There's actually a building in NYC, now under construction, which will allow you to drive into a elevator and drive off into a private garage on whichever floor you happen to live. (I'm sure a glass wall could be spec'd.) It was modeled after something already built in Tokyo.
