Because its mine It has been about three weeks since purchasing my first P-car and I must say, what a blast! Here are my observations since buying it in no particular order:

1) Instantly all my neighbors become my "New" best friends.
2) Suddenly my wife is no longer my priority when she is wearing lingerie.
3) I can not go out to eat and enjoy my dinner knowing somebody may have parked next to me at the back of the parking lot 800 yards from the front door.
4) Because of the above reason I am slowly loosing weight.
5) My water bill has gone up 40% from constant washing of the car
6) Suddenly I am concerned about what I am wearing when I drive it .
7) My 3 and 7 year old have huge smiles when I stomp on the accelerator.
8) My brother does not think his Audi A4 convert is so cool anymore.
9) Everyone at work thinks I am a drug dealer .
10) Suddenly rain clouds scare me!

If you have anything else to add on from your own observations please do not hesitate.

11. You think the car drives and handles like a dream UNTIL you lower it and add a 'golden rod' shifter linkage. Then it REALLY drives and handles like a dream!

Great Best 10 list. I love the one about your brother no longer thinking his Audi A4 convertible is no longer cool anymore. Isn't it great that you can get this much play from an old Porsche! It was a great bargain for you.

15. All your co-workers for whatever reason seem to think you make allot more money than they do. They don't realize you paid less for the 993 than most of them paid for their shiny new Lexus's & Beemer's.

18. Don't care if anyone's is staring at her rear end as much as my girlfriend's. Sometimes, I even join them.

19. Related to #12, any errand that requires a drive is now a joy rather than a task.
20. Absolutely cannot walk away from the car without looking over your shoulder... multiple times

I find myself volunteering for trips that I used to avoid. Go pick up some milk, run to Home Depot (small and clean stuff only), drive son to soccer, etc., etc.
