Default small block Chevy in a 911 - is this a joke?

Anyone else see this on ebay? wouldn't have thought you could fit a V8 in the engine bay of a 911 and still have a reasonable rear ride height.

My neighbor was converting an old SC into one of these hybrids. He's putting an LS1 into it.

Was visiting my wife's uncle last weekend. He took me over to a friends , who has a Vette engine in a 914. You could not tell by looking at the car. Not my cup of tea, but I could really appreciate the work and fabrication.

Cheers,
Emerald

Lots of HP for minimum dollars. But, then it's not a Porsche any more.

There was one FS with a big *ss V8. The engine was so big that it went into the rear seat compartment. To camouflage the engine, the owner fabricated and engine cover that looked like suitcases stacked. So when you looked from outside the car, it looked as though u had luggage on the back seat. Pretty creative IMHO.

There is a Porsche down here in San Diego with a 350 Chevy in it. It's so modified, you would never guess it was a Porsche though.
With enough time and skill you can make ANY engine fit into ANY car.
They used to put 350 Chevy's in VW Bugs all the time.

You are right, I have a friend with an LS1 in a 3 Series BMW (sorry GMW), he is also about to put an LS1 into an R32 Nissan Skyline..... Anything can be done.

Oh god and I thought this post was bad (it is)... how much does it cost to import a skyline?

I think I am going to import an RS then throw a Zo6 motor in it, I mean there is no replacement for displacement right?
