I've seen that color in person on a 928...stunning! Congratulations.

Not only have I never seen that color, I've never heard of that color and I've been on Rennlist every week for 6 years now. Cool car. What was it listed for in Panorama? I don't get it anymore.
The first reply to your initial post beat me to the punch when I saw the pics - the rear badge needs replacing. I wonder why they put on Targa wheels on a non-Targa? Guess the car didn't come with the original wheels too? Congrats. Those speedlines are the bomb!!!

Perhaps I'm tired from the drive..
What should I do to the rear badge? The Targa wheels were delivered on the car in 96'. Guess the guy wanted them bad enough. As for the plate, my buddy owns a fantastic shop in Commerce Twp MI. http://www.motorwerksgroup.com/ He let me borrow the plate to make the car purchase a bit easier. His shop regularly spits out 800hp SL65s and similar insanity. Not my cup of tea, but can provide a life changing experience nonetheless. |

Looks like the "C" is a bit tweaked on the badge. A new emblem is a cheap fix. Or do a nice, clean badge delete. Can't wait to see the car when you've got your first (big) round of mods done.

Hahaha..Carrera badge - gone..
My wife just watched me drop my laptop, run outside and rip the broken badge off my car. Followed by crazed rubbing and scraping. Its mostly off, but there is a ghost of the former badge. I'll have to have it rubbed out on Monday. ...She's staring at me with a worried look as I type this. Chuck W. My wife is transferring her Woodland Hills office. Therefore, we'll have to find a place in the valley next month - don't want her to spend 1/2 the day commuting. My office, however, will soon be in Santa Monica, where I'll spend most of my time. |

Beautiful car. Great color.
I swear I recall that the 911 McQueen drove in the early scenes of 'LeMan' was this color.... I've tried to find the mag that had the car in it but no luck so far.... Sweet ride. Very unique color that is really striking. Congratulations and enjoy! chuck
