Hi Guys,
I'm about to sell a set of my track NB 17" Cup wheels. The wheels are in very poor cosmetic shape but are straight and true and the tires are toast. I originally was asking for $600, and a guy offered $400 and if he likes what he see's tomorrow, and we agreed to $450 (in hind-site, I should have pushed for $500, but I think he would have walked). So, my question to you is whether $450 is a fair price or is it too low? I can wait for a better deal, so I'm in no real big hurry. Your inputs are greatly appreciated! thanks!

well they run about 1,000 in good to great condition so if your need to be refinished that costs about 125 per wheel or roughly $500 for the set then you in teh ball park

Cosmetically bad Cup wheels with burned-up tires that the next owner is going to have to pay to be dismounted and discarded are worth $400-$500, and from what I've seen (I was recently Cup-wheel shopping) more toward the $400 side. I think you're doing just fine.
I bought a set of good-condition Cup wheels and they're 7.5" fronts and 47mm offsets in the rear -- meaning they're the more desirable kind that really fill in the wheel arches. I paid $500.

Thanks Guys I really appreciate your inputs.
Kindof sad to let my track wheels go. Priorities have changed in the past couple of years, and I don't see myself heading to the track with my full set-up. It's absolutely amazing how much $$ it takes to keep this fun hobby going. Tires, track time, wear-and-tear...

If anyone has a spare 7.5 and/or 9x17" I'd be interested...
My original wheels had a offset of 65 [front] , but now I wonder if a 55 would look better[?]. |

track wheels for $400 any day, $450 most any day, $500 possibly...if the wheels were in NorCal or SoCal I'd be drooling.

I sold my Cup wheels to a race buddy for $400 a couple of months ago. Decent shape, but with a few scratches. I let them go fairly cheap because I know the guy who bought them. But i see Cup wheels for sale for fantasy prices on eBay... I would say $500 for a good set of used ones, and maybe $6-700 for a set of spotless wheels.
