Default Opinion needed on wheel color

I have recently purchased an Arena Red C4S 96 911 with black interior. It has the standard turbo twist wheels in a silver alloy color. There is a bit of curb rash that I want repaired and I was thinking of getting a custom color to boot...since it doesn't cost anything more.

I am not a chrome guy so ditch any of those suggestions. I was thinking of a gun metal gray, but would welcome other suggestions. One of my favorite looks has always been the BMW black chrome color...I don't know the official color name but that is how I always described it.

Here is a pic of my car for reference.

Thanks for any input.

Regards

On these wheels my favourite would be the "Optik Silver" (?) as on the 993 Turbo S. A brighter, flashier silver, perhaps going in a direction you don't want, but I like it on the twist/techno/hollow wheels.

Great looking car. I would not change the wheel color as it would not look right to me. How about getting new wheels and selling these to offset the cost?

I like the BMW color your talking about. I think it would look good on your color car. I also really like yellow brakes with the Arena Red. Just my $0.02

+1. Might I suggest MY02s? They look pretty sharp on a C4S, if I may say so myself

Your car and wheels look great, why mess with perfection?

Looks like the keep existing color has more votes.

I really appreciate the input because this is a tough choice. I know and like to keep things more or less stock, but was thinking I would like to do something a bit different. I like how easy these wheels are to clean.

The MY02's are nice too, but it seems like that is the trend these days and I have a habit of trying to be different. Though those wheels on a 993 do look sick.

One of my friends did say a shinier silver which I would like...kind of like the color of the Carrera badge...I just don't like bright chrome. Too bling for me on this car.

I am still thinking the BMW color, which I would chalk up being closer to my idea of gun metal grey. I saw black chrome and liked the BMW color much better.

Decisions, decisions! Hmmm...have to think on that one.

Thanks again for the input!

I have Arena Red cab and it is such an elegant look with the stock silver wheels, I'd hate to change it. Gun metal grey would be my second choice - if you had to be different.
