I'd appreciate any recommendations for a TireRack authorized installer between the border and Seattle where I can ship my new treads and count on careful attention to mounting and high-speed balancing ... many thanks,

Hey Doug,
I bought my Sumi's in Bellingham, they matched the prices from TireRack and installed them. I think its "Discount Tires". They mounted the tires on my 19" RUF's, did a great job, no complaints. Cheers, Mike

I also used a local Discount Tire to buy and mount my 17" on my 993. They provide lifetime balancing and rotation (although you have to dismount and remount tires on opposite sides when they are unidirectional (for which they charge about $50). But they also provide no charge fix for flats.
And I found Discount Tire would match the TireRack prices. Just go to their web site: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/findTireSection.do to find the closest location. |

+1. I buy all my tires from Discount in Bellingham. They always match Tire Rack and it's a one-stop shop.
