It was the problem w/ mine when I replaced it the first time, it wasn't positioned correctly. I just removed it again, then rotated it slightly while applying light pressure and felt the indent where it should go in. Pushed it all the way in and WaLa, the light worked.

Don't do the bulb!!!!
I changed mine out to get it working.....and once working, it is the MOST ANNOYING THING while driving at night because you will see the lighted headlight **** in your side mirror. VERY DISTRACTING. There were others in the past who did this and reported the same thing. I didn't believe it and had to find out for myself.

I got Sylvania 37 (same size as 73 and 73, they are called T1 3/4" bulbs). It is, indeed, bigger than original and doesn't seem to fit.
What's funny, it fit ashtray socket just fine and works there.
What the Porsche part number on these?

I found that the easiest way to align the **** was to turn the headlights on before pulling the **** off because the light rays of the light bulb symbol point downward when the lights are on.

Hey guys, I just changed my bulb and started the car and all is well. Then I backed out of my garage and I noticed my passenger rear tire was flat and had a giant knife stuck in it. Do you guys think that changing the bulb did this? If so...how do I fix?
