Why do you want spacers? What exactly is your goal? What wheels and offsets are you running? Most likely, we will recommend an alternative solution... few people find the need to run spacers.

I ran 5mm spacers on all corners with no problem .. that's with standard offset Twists or Cup II's

You simply measure the current gap between the inside of your fender well, and the outer face of your tire. Then, choose the correct size from this list.

I've never had a problem with spacers, they are significantly less expensive than new wheels, and they are easily reversible if you don't end up liking them. Besides, Porsche has sold vehicles for years with gigantic spacers on them from the factory. Have you ever seen OE 928 spacers?

@JPP thanks. Btw i love your avatar, you have that photo in a bigger size? which car is that?

@ECS Tuning, thank you. you recommend HR spacers or eibach? do you send them to portugal? (my country)

At first i was tempted to put 15mm on all wheels. what do you think?

You should buy 18" wheels with the proper offsets. That's what nearly everybody does, because the 17" wheels are rather boring and not even slightly "aggressive" or stylish. You can use a 5mm spacer without losing the hub-centric feature, but that doesn't help much with the stock 17" wheels. So you need a big spacer, which is pricey and non-optimal.

This red 993 looks absolutely terrible. The owner spaced out the wheels too far, and neglected to address the two much bigger issues: (1) the car is at agricultural ride height, and (2) the ugly stock wheels. Very bad judgment there.

Another opinion is Cup II 17" wheels like those above are quite beautiful. The perfect wheel for the 993 for street driving and many people here also would say the same for track and autocross as well. As pointed out .. the U.S. ride height on the car above really ruins the look of the cars stance .. but once it's lowered to European ride height, it will look much better and IMHO a 5mm spacer is all you need to push the wheel out toward the fender lip a bit .. especially if you go lower towards RS height. Anything more than 5mm and you're running the risk of not having enough thread engagement on the stock hubs .. then you would have to go to hubcentric bolt on spacers with their own studs or remove the stock studs and replace with longer ones.

I don't have any personal experience with Eibach spacers, but I will emphatically endorse H&R components. Everything they make is of the highest quality.

I'm not sure if 15 would be too much or not, you would need to measure. You would certainly need longer lug studs to run a 15mm spacer. Luckily, H&R provides them with a pair of spacers.

^^^ on a narrow body car running the 17" Cup II's with ET55 on all four corners, I suspect anything more than 7mm would need some fender modification at Euro (R.O.W.) ride height ..

Hi JP,

i have 2 questions regarding your 5mm spacers:

1. do you use the factory bolts with the spacers or special longer bolts?
2. who made your spacers?

Mine is lowered to RS + 5mm, no spacers, standard 17 Cup2's.

I installed 5 mm spacers on all corners but did not like the look so took them off. I think it looks perfect without spacers but that's personal.

To answer your question; On my car more than 5 mm on the back wheels would cause rubbing. I used the original nuts with the 5 mm spacers.

Here's mine with 20mm spacers up front and 7mm at the rear. Car is lowered on Bilstein HD/033 springs. To me it looks aggressive even with 17" Cup II rims.
