Default strange whine from the back

Ever since I got my car back from the shop, there has been a strange whine coming from the back.

No, wait, that's not it. Try this instead!

Woot woot!

Actually took nearly 4 weeks to install and still need to install the intercooler. This is the supercharger done right (mostly). Protomotive tune and turbo injectors - no piggy back, no 7th injector, no CELs! But, because of the tune and the lack of intercooler right now I have to run octane boost. I do have the intercooler, I just need to install it.

Dude, a good part of the time I roll around town in my '97 TT w/ a car seat in the back, too. My 2 year old and 6 year old (she just turned 6 today) love riding in the backseat

Yours looks great....congrats

My son turns 6 on Thursday

I've just been gift shopping for him, he's into this Ben10 stuff. (Alright, I'll admit it, I watch it with him).

He loves Porsches, and I hope one day he will inherit my 993. He keeps telling me that he prefers the 996!!!! Kids

Congratulations...

I have a similar problem except the whine comes from the passenger seat. Very expensive to repair.

I got my whiner toasted on martinis and made her recline her seat and go to sleep...not too expensive and the car seems to run better/quieter.
Congrats on the extra boost too!

One full tank with the supercharger: 17.9 MPG! This is as good as my historical MPG, so, in my everyday driving, not a huge impact! I haven't hot rodded, but, I have gotten into the power at least once a day (maybe only to merge, but still).

Very impressed with the feel of the car. I used to drive a high power front drive turbo car and I loved the feel as the power surged forth (prob a bit of lag actually). There is no surge of power with my current car. In fact, it is not obvious that the car is not NA! You just push the pedal and it goes.

My kid (almost 2 years old) is all about the movie Cars and Thomas the Tank Engine. He loves my car and looks at Excellence magazine with me. He knows what an engine looks like. When ever we go for a drive, he starts chanting 'Race Car' because he wants to go in my car.

I will probably keep it to AutoX this year due to time constraints. If I do any track days, it will be at Porschefest this summer.
