Default Help with e-brake removal

Can someone assist me in a DIY guide for removal of the e-brake handle?
I need to get it recovered in alcantara at Dallas Custom Steering wheel.

Thanks in advance
Rich

I just did this. You can do it without removing the console if you have nimble fingers

1) remove the pocket at the back of the console
2) remove the plastic underneath the hand brake
3) Loosen the handbrake cable by using two wrenches - one to stabilize the lock nut and the other wrench to loosen the nut. Loosen it all the way.
4) There is a half inch diameter pin going through the hand brake that serves as the hinge/joint. You can remove it by first removing the cotter pin
5) you should be able to pull it out

(this is from memory, but, pretty close) It took about 15 mins to do.

Sure no problem.
Already have alcantara shift boot & storage tray. Here are some other examples.
