hi all, is it possible to deactivate a airbag on a 96 993 targa? ive searched the forum and found that its easy to do on the later models but not this one. also see there is a few links to companys that do aftermarket switchs. is there anyone that does this in the uk? im in london.

i got a switch and did it myself years ago (about 8 years). i think it was airbagcutoffswitch.com or something like that. instructions were clear and it was pretty easy. with all the lawyers around these days, i would be surprised if they are still in business.

There is a child seat deactivation kit that the dealer will install for free.
