Recommendations on where to find a 993
I'm looking for a Silver 993 (C2 or C4, Coupe). Any suggestions on where to find one other than Ebay, Cars.com, Autotrader.com, Rennlist?

You hit the main ones already, but they are out of order.
Try Rennlist, local Porsche clubs (PCA, POC), Autotrader, Cars.com, then Ebay.
If you have a good idea on what you want and your budget, put a "Want to Buy (WTB)" post here on Rennlist and your car may find you.
There is arguably no better place to find a 993 than from this group.

become a PCA member-check oyu their classifieds also. Contact local PCA chapters, put a wanted in their monthly publications.
Get a good nationwide search for Craigslist, look on Pelican too. I searched multiple times a day on every place you mentioned, and more. You can also assemble a list of hi end Euro dealers who carry these cars, and check their inventory often. Also call those guys, Truspeed, Sloan, Victory(?), RPM(?), etc...let them know exactly what your looking for. It can't hurt...
I ended up buying a C4S from a fellow Rennlister after 4 1/2 months of searching. As stated, this is hands down the best resource for these cars.
What exactly are you looking for? Do you have the choices narrowed down yet?

Agree that posting here and letting people know you are looking is the best way to get a nice car. I sold my M3 and that night responded to a fellow RL's pics of his car with the following statement: "Beautiful car- I'm looking for one just like it." A few PMs and weeks later it was sitting in my driveway!

Many times Porsche repair shops will have customers that will post their cars for sale for any number of reasons as well. Depending on how good the customer is, the shop will have an extended history with the car.

Agree - post a WTB here. Even if there are no members selling, informing everyone of what you’re looking for and possibly price range, will help in your search. I found this site after I bought mine. No regrets, but there are very knowledgeable and helpful people here that I could have used.

I'd figure out the whole Carrera vs. Carrera 4 thing before you start looking. Personally, a C4 was a must, and I have been pleasantly surprised at how rear-drive it feels.
+1 for a WTB posting.
Good luck with your search!
Paul.

Thank you all for your thoughtful comments.
I saw the C2 and C4 at Holt, but both were $39.5 and that is a little out of my price range.
...I'm posting the WTB ad on RL tonight.
