Yeap, M1 5W-50 is a rare bird in US. I understand this oil is available in Canada's Walmarts thou.

I'll be stoping by a few on my way to Mont Tremblant in a few weeks . . .

I pick up the V Twin 20w50 most of the time I'm in there but they usually only have 3 or 4 qts. in stock. For some reason they don't think the H-D's need 10 qts. for an oil change....
