thanks all. I'm pretty stoked.

@Trinitony - yes, how did you know? I got the SAI bypass done at Chris's German. =)

@payam972 - No kidding. It's on it's way to the shop on wednesday for a clearbra (whole front) and a redo of the rear fenders.

@motionless - yes, its in the bay right now. =) It looks like i'm the last one to migrate from BARF to rennlist.

@993C4rs - plan it and I'll be there.

Beautiful car, congratulations.

Do you have any plans for the wheels? I suspect that I'm not the only one for whom the white deal has a very strong "80s" connection. I'm not a fan of black wheels per se, but on a light colored car, something all black would be a very cool GT3-style update: http://www.teamspeed.com/forums/gt/1...thread-go.html

The wheel color didn't resonate with me either when I was looking at the car over the interwebs. It's much better in person.

If I had the cash, I would do BBS e88s.

With that said, I'm trying to minimize the outflux of cash from my wallet for a little bit. It's easy to go bonkers.

White 993s are not that common and look great. Congrats.

I'd change the wheels, too (the white is a bit much.) BBS would look fantastic (I'd just do the silver finish.) Also someday do a bumperette delete and fill the plate holes. The black bumperettes really show themselves on a white body. You'd have a clean looking car.

Enjoy! No doubt you'll be up into the Santa Ynez Valley back roads having fun (as soon as this crazy weather clears.)

the wheel's were a factory option IIRC for the car. Love the Red "S" on rear logo too, really ties in nice with the 4S logo's on the ncenter caps.

Nice to hear the SAI issue was cleared up, and the car didn't need a top end. Chris Powell is a great guy-I had long conversations with both him and John, while looking at a car local to them.

The car turned out to be pretty misrepresented by the seller-Park Place, so it never got to the PPI phase.

The white wheels didn't look right to me at first either, but grew on me after time. I didn't move forward when looking at your car because of price-considering the CEL issues Jay was having, and the fact that the car was about 2300 miles from me didn't help either.

Jay seemed like a stand up guy, and the car is BEYOND documented and cared for.

Congratulations, it's a beautiful car...enjoy
