Dirty Pictures from 2010 New Year's Eve North Georgia Mountain Run
The day started cool and cloudy in Dahlonega, then went to wet, slick, and nasty in the mountains and finally to sunny and warm after a nice lunch in Helen. A few photos from the day...

With that title, this is bound to get some views. Looks like a great time was had by all. These cars look just as good filthy as sparkling clean. Now have fun washing them.
The Porsche crowd here in Sydney can never arrange a get together for a coffee or a drive, so I always read these threads with a little envy.
Happy New Year to all, Sydney turned it on again with $5 mil in fireworks that we are told is good value for money. We believe them of course, because politicians never lie.

Thanks for posting the pics guys. Looks like a great time with owners who actually want to enjoy there cars. I would love to join a drive like that!!!
Ed's picture below makes me laugh. Multiple generations of rear engined "fossils" look small compared to a "modern" sports coupe.
But only one has the engine lid open.....

"Organized" is the last word that describes this group...
This New Year's Eve Mountain Run thing started on Rennlist in 2007 and isn't sanctioned by any group or club. There are other times when Rennlisters do this type of drive, so just hang around and watch the board and I'm sure you'll be welcomed....It's a great group of folks.

I didn't get many pics, but had a blast today. Great meeting all of you finally.
Took a bit of time to get the grime off the car, but worth every minute!
Here's a few...
Still snow on the ground... I wasn't expecting that.
This was the view through the windshield most of the day... couldn't keep it clean with all of the grime coming from the road.
Looking forward to the next run!
