Default highest mileage ever seen in a 993

I met the founder of my local PCA. Hes had a 1968 911 since new with 350k original miles in the engine....thats what I want to be in a few decades, an old man with his trusty ol' 993 with tons of great memories.

So my question is: Whats the highest mileage 993 that you've ever met, or owned? Do we really own the best 911 ever made? Im pretty sure we do, but all of the 993s I've met are garage queens, with low miles. Cant seem to find good online reviews on long term tests on the 993.

Thoughts?

My brother-in-law has 193K on his. He bought from a friend with 11K many years ago. Still with the original engine.

My former Iris Blue 993 rolled over 200,000 when I sold it. The new owner is a Rennlist member. If he still has it, maybe he'll chime in. I had all service records and the motor had never been apart.

Isn't "Richardew" up over 300K now? Look for the pic of the aventurine green with a snow mustache for an avatar.

IIRC it's somewhere around 220k. I think he recently dropped it out of full-time DD status, still drives it but not the primary DD, at least in winter. Nasty road condition/salt in PA.

His car proves that these things need to be driven. Mine just rolled over 140K

A few years back, there was a 993RS with 500k kms... in Germany.

Price was very low then spiked after Manthey performed an engine rebuild....
