95 is not the same. 1996 is different than the 97 and 98. I have a 96 and a 97 (which is already chipped for performance from FVD) by sending it to Europe. The 96 ECU cannot be modded. The FVD mod includes immobilizer delete which puts you closer to circumventing the system. I will have both for sale shortly since my car is being converted to full Motec. If you want tuning, do not use the 96. If your just looking for an ECU to operated Varioram then the 96 will work.
