993 TT in 1-11 Pano
I just purchased a low mileage 95 C2 coupe that I have ordered shocks and springs for, with HID's going in as well. This is my 6th 911 and it is a great car.....but....a silver 993TT with red interior has turned up with very low mileage in the latest Panorama. It is in San Diego. This is hands down my favorite combo and I had given up looking for one. All I had to do was to buy another car to have this one turn up. My last turbo was an 89 marina blue cab that I never got really comfortable with. Turbo lag in a car that didn't suffer fools gladly never let me relax in the twisties. I also had a new 09 C2S cab that was plenty fast but not near as much fun to drive, nor as pretty to look at as the 993 that I used to have. I'm assuming a 993TT could be the best of both worlds. Does anyone know this car? Or would anyone care to disabuse me of this assumption? I know there may be some issues associated with the low mileage but my hope is a good PPI will find few. I have posted a similar inquiry on the 993turbo forum but I know there are plenty of smart porschephiles in attendance here; thanks for any and all advice....Chris

I have a never ending love affair going on with my 96 993TT...I will most likely never sell it. Many cars come and go, but I never tire of this car. My advice is if you can afford it, get the TT and sell the 993 C2 when you can, or keep it. BUt if you have found the rare color combo you want, get it. Mine was Guards Red with tan or black interior...I found it with the exact options I wanted and I bought it. You won't regret it.

Yes, No HTwo O, I started that thread. The car has been turned over to a dealer to handle the sale while the seller is on travel, but the guy handling the sale has not returned my calls....very frustrating. Maybe the deal is about to be less good......Chris

Well, I finally got a return call from Jim, the dealership sales mgr. He claims that he bought the car and that he has a deposit from another buyer from back east for 73K. Damn!
