In my search to make sure everything is working as planned, I need to know if this is normal behavior for the fans:
With the unit in any mode that has the front fans on, at times they appear to switch off for a brief moment. This is noticable at 2 or higher. There is also the sound of a click in the dash, maybe a relay? Maybe a flap?
As the unit modulates the air temp, is there any reason for it to do this, and if not, why might it be happening?

You may have a defective auxillary fan in the engine compartment. If it's broken or the fuse has blown the CCU shut down the interior (front) fans.
