Radio tuning goes crazy

No progress....real busy the last few weeks, so sorry for the slow response...but did a reset, and put the radio code back in..
Now it does the same thing, except that the two buttons that are tuned to 98.1...just turn off the radio...weird...
I am probably going to go with a cdr-220 anyway..but still bugs me......

My radio used to act strangely at times, but stopped acting up when I started useing a battery tender when the car was not in use. I have a red top optima battery. It may just be a coincidence, but no problems for over a year now.
