Holy moly, get some proper jack stands! I would go anywhere near the underside of that car!

But is sure looks good sitting there.

are you serious bro?

Thats a highly dangerous situation.

if anything at least get the jack somewhere on the front so it doesn't fall on your head.

yikes

It is way more stable than it looks. The wood blocks are solid cedar 8x10x24 each. Then there are 2 3 ton jackstands at the rear jack points AND the jack at the rear supporting the engine. I've yanked on the doors and pushed it around on this rig, and it is more stable than 2 more jack stands in front...

It may seem like everyone is jumping on your case, but its a safety issue and nobody wants to see a fellow RL hurt. Even with four jack stands holding my car up I still have wheels under it where I'm not working. Either in the middle of the car or on the outside corners. Only then will I bet my life on not getting squished or seriously mangled. And you should never count on a jack to support a vehicle.

agreed. the jack is sort of the "just in case." Although I usually do load it up just a little

Unless there is an earth quake , sunami or tornado I would trust your set up .
Sliding the wheels underneath would likely end having pristine wheels not being so pristine anymore from sliding them under the car . If have to use old spare wheels .

Cheers Guy

Your set up looks fine. Most of the weight is on the rear anyway. I would stick a wheel in there for extra insurance ;-)
