Default Cosmo be gone! Etc.

A tribute to all the clean freaks that have gone before me...and not a job for the feint of heart, as they will attest. I began the cleaning on 3/20. I used, as others, Xenit, WD40 picking tools, scouring pads, alot of elbow grease (~150 hrs to date) and a little Blue Magic to make the shiny bits pop.
Just part of the Spring 2011 upgrades: SSK/Golden Rod, Control Arm Bushings, RS Motor Mounts and Hargett Lower Valve Covers. The Cat/Mufflers and brackets etc. were also ceramic coated in SILVER ALUMINUM. All of this madness was being done as the rear PU was getting a "pads delete" and re-spray. All of the heat shielding was cleaned and clear coated and rear PU supports and tips were black powder coated until...I nosed around the interweb and stumbled accross marine-grade (316) stainless-steel ones for the rear-most, the ones that seem to catch all of the debris and are a complete PIA to get at. Kudos on behalf of the efforts of "Orange Curry", one of our Carrera-mates across the pond over at our sister-site: http://911uk.com/viewforum.php?f=9, who sourced-out.............and waited patiently, with mild cajoling, for the fabrication upgrade/improvement.
Last Spring 2010 I did the euro turbo front cap as well as any R&R and tidying-up, so now it's on to the front wheel wells and suspension which I should be able to finish up this week. I'm jonesin' for a drive.
