Default KW V3 , PSS9 or PSS10?

Is KW V3 better then PSS 10? Or PSS9 would do the job fine to save the $1,000 difference of the 10?

KW V3 have separate compression and rebounding adjustment, the Bilsteins don't. You can see my choice by looking at my sig.

The PSS9s were replaced by the 10s and are NLA. PSS10s are a good street set-up. Perhaps you are thinking about the HDs which are around $700 cheaper than the PSS10s IIRC.

I use it only for weekend street drive going around the hills. Also need to adjust the right height for my 19" CCW shoes. BTW, mine is 95 C2 Cab and V3 is $300 cheaper then PSS10. Thx.

Hmmm interesting...
PSS10-$2495
KW-V3-$2700

KWs are a bit more here.

The V3 was more expensive then the PSS but I was told that under the new price, the 10 is now 300 more then the V3.

IMO then you should purchase the KW's.
They will allow you to dial in a plush ride while still controlling the mass of the 19's.
P10's are easier to adjust, but KWs have more options, bounce AND rebound.

have fun.

I have KW2s and while the are perfectly dialed in, I would trade up to KW3s given the chance

Just to avert any misunderstanding Compression and Rebound are available on the Pss10's its operated by the same easy to adjust dial, there are more adjustment options to the KW's and depending on your patience you may well find a good setting amongst the huge quantity of potential settings that are available.

Be advised that the adjusters on the KW setup arent the easiest to access for quick changes either so patience is required there too if you wish to experiment with the settings to the fullest extent with your skin intact.

With the Pss10's adjustment can be performed in moments by sliding yourself under the car and tweaking the dials, also ask yourself just how much adjustment do you really need on a street car, Id suggest Bilsteins factory settings arent going to be far from the mark for anyone.

Also little has been mentioned of the comparitive spring rates and whether those may have an undesired effect, fine if running 17's with the extra tire profile to assume some of the work of the spring but maybe not so good on 18's depending on what the individual wants, my advice........do your homework!

Been very happy with the price and transaction from FisterD. They are good people and active Rennlister's and sponsors to boot!

My last 993tt had dialed-in PSS9s with factory 18s. Fantastic handling and ride quality on well paved roads. But yikes!, around decrepit La Jolla roadways, the ride was seriously punishing

Conversely, my previous C2S with factory M030 and ROW M030 springs (row lower ROW ride height), proved more compliant for the various road conditions in SoCal while delivering great performance for reasonable street driving.
