What are the non OEM shifter options?
My shifter is worn. The shifter bag still looks great. Just the top part is worn.
The 993 shifters cost a fortune.
Are there any after-market options that don't look too bad?
I saw a 993 with a really nice Techart **** but that is not available anymore.
The shaft is not round, it ist flat. This limits the choice greatly.
Please post anything you may have seen or have in your car.

These are nice... and I have one for sale if you are interested.
No boot, but the shifter **** is in like new condition.
$95 new, how about $50 shipped if you are in the states?

Steen, could you give a little more detail on this ****? Pictures would be great.
Does it get hot/cold? What size is it? Is it fairly heavy? How does it attach to the shifter? Any comments on its feel and comfort?

I love the feel and weight of the Rennline piece. Cold as hell in winter for a while but other than that, really nicely done. Got the black one with matching e-brake piece and looks good against the classic grey. Hope this helps.

I'm out of town now and don't have any pics to share right now, but happy to when I get home.
Installation is as simple as can be, and I'm no mechanic. 2 minute job. It takes longer to get the boot back in place than to install the **** itself.
I'm only selling because my wife got me one of the fancy ($$$) Carnewal shifters as a gift... I love her!

Roche 993 summed it up well. It does transmit the temperature effectively... hot in summer and cold in winter. Not really something that bothered me. The weight and feel are fantastic.

I bought Steen's ****. Will use that for now until my wife buys me a fancy one from Carnewal.
