Default If you were put in charge of Porsche tomorrow...

I'm basically making this thread to see how people feel about the company today and whether they like the direction it is heading in..

If you could change it.. If in a hypothetical fantasy land you were made head of Porsche what would you change/improve about the company and why?

What changes would you make within the company?
What projects would you initiate?
Would you expand the model line-up? i.e. re-introduction of the 928 or an entry-level model
Would you cut any cars out of the model line-up? i.e. end the Cayenne and Panamera
Would you reintroduce the air-cooled engine? (it's hypothetical guys, forget regulations)
It goes on and on..

Cheers for the responses in advance!

id definitely cut out the panamera and cayenne. new one is just hideous-looks like a hyundai santa fe

1. I'd fire their finance department
2. Put 3.8 DFI GTS motor into cayman, call it Cayman RS and sell the **** out of it.
3. nope, model line up is fine
4. nope

so in other words, you want the company to go bankrupt, like it almost did in the 90s?

I'd do nothing for a year, get fired, and then take the severance and buy all the 993s I could afford.

I'd hire Rob Dickinson (of Singer fame) and put him in charge of vehicle design!

I'd hire Welt-Rauch folks and put them in charge of cleaning the toilets.

The problem is that they'd probably make a "race car" out of that too.

Have dealers get realistic with parts prices.
Force dealers to carry the "Good Oil" at comparable prices. Like to be able to pickup the Mobil 1 there in 5 gallon jugs!
Also have them show the research that proves an oil with low ZDDP wil not adversely affect our cars.

I think releasing a "912" 991 with a flat-4 and more basic interior with less bells and whistles, and use that car to replace the Coxster/boxster lineup.

Already exist...

I wonder what the total cost would be if someone send a 993 to the Porsche Classic workshop for a restoration?

Mechanic per hour: 97,00 € excl. VAT
Body work/paint: 102,00 € excl. VAT
