Don't care one way or the other about the company. But he was one intelligent man.

He made my life insanely great. Years ago, I remember walking into IBM (where I worked at the time - what the hell was I thinking?) and putting up this beautifully tiled, gigantic printout on the wall. Oohing an aahing, everyone clustered around asking me how I did it, and I was proud to say "Oh, it was easy! I just used my APPLE Macintosh and Laserwriter II printer." And thus I stuck it to the Man.

I wonder if this is start of the fall of Apple. Look at how they disappointed everyone with the IPhone 4s.

Geez Ed, how did a Steve Jobs tribute turn into an IBM bashing? Steve was a brilliant man and Apple is a cool company, amazing consumer products for sure. I would be happy to compare significant technological advances with you, but can't we all just get along? Anyway, very sad news
