Default Dec 3, Irvine Cars & Coffee: So Cal Rennlisters GTG

Looks like the So Cal RLers are going to descend on The Irvine Cars and Coffee on Dec 3. Plan to arrive ~630AM

2 Caravan spots have been lined up:

1. From the South REST STOP: 545 AM It appears to be be just north of the 76 (note--higher north than the 78!) and north of the "Harbor Drive" exit...It is just North of where the Marines store their hovercraft, so there is a large concrete facility to the West with a wall that says, "GO NAVY"

gl=us&t=h&z=16&vpsrc=6

2. From the North in Torrance: 520 AM @ Mills Cafe off the 405 in Torrance:
18925 South Western Ave Torrance, CA

Cars and Coffee is at:

7905 Gateway Blvd, Irvine, CA 92618

website here: http://irvine.carsandcoffee.info/

I will update information/other meeting spots and times as they come in.

I vote that we SD folks meet at the rest stop as Ed suggests, instead of McDonalds.
Plus McDonalds is just plain evil IMO
No point in getting off / on the freeway and dealing with traffic lights if we don't have to.

Yes?
No?

just post the address, I will update the first post.

Is everyone OK with the times? should we target closer to 6AM arrival?

Anyone local to Irvine/Laguna areas want to meet up somewhere at the Spectrum prior to driving over so we can at least park together?

We could meet at the Corner Bakery at the Spectrum and roll out of there at 0630?

6:30 arrival should be fine IMO
let's just plan on parking in one of the "last" rows that don't fill as quickly.

Craig--
The Rest Stop sounds fine to me...was thinking a place with an address might be easiest. But, here's (I hope) a link to the map with a picure of the Rest Stop. It appears to be be just north of the 76 (note--higher north than the 78!) and north of the "Harbor Drive" exit...

http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Oceanside,+CA&hl=en&ll=33.265963,-117.435544&spn=0.010191,0.022638&hnear=Oceanside,+San+Diego,+California& gl=us&t=h&z=16&vpsrc=6

I also feel a 6:30AM arrival at CNC is adequate...

The rest stop is definitely easiest.
