Looks like a great time. And a great turn out too. Love that new 4.0. Paper tags no less.

A little bit... we just spread out when we hit the stretch that had it... Jim did a great job putting together a route that stayed on the South Side of the mountains as those had not been sanded/salted. But if a guy can bring a $200k 4.0 with 117 miles on it, you would've been OK...

I'll say it again, we need to do this more than once a year. I think we'd all prefer roads completely clear...

Jim, Terry, Thanks again for assembling this.

Happy New Year R-Listers!

It was an amazing time and great to meet some local Rennlisters. I fallowed Dave's GT3 a good bit and it sounded awesome! My favorite part of the drive was when I was in the back, it was so cool to see all the pCars in front of me carving up the mountains.

Thanks again to all.

Ed, thanks for the great pics!

I had a great time meeting all of you. The conditions couldn't have been better. Top down on NYE in the mountains is about as good as it gets! We really should do this more often. I spent most of the time in the back and it was really unbelievable to see all of the cars, and to hear the roar of acceleration.

Good times!

Agreed. I strategically placed myself behind GT3 and RS 4.0 at various stages for both sonic and visual enjoyment. It was an honor getting gravel spatter from those two cars!

Looks like fun. I got the TT ready last night just in case I felt especially lazy this am. But my conscience got the better part of me so chose to get my Trek Madone out instead and did the Airport Ride. Good group of 80-100 riders....not bad for New Years Day.

Love that RS 4.0

Haha. I know right!
I would love to pick a Saturday morning in spring and do this. No need to wait on NYE next year

It was great to get in touch with the Rennist comunity after relocating to Atlanta area. The drive and people were great and Madlen and myslef looking forward to see you guys soon during our hopfuly not so far out next run.

And I fully agree with Steen - coming from the East Coast and having a NYE-run with top down - life doesn't get much better than that.
