Joanne and Robert: I was glad to read that the surgery went well. Being home for Christmas is a good thing, and I wish you a speedy recovery in the new year. I'm praying for you both.

Joanne,
I'm so sorry and I hope you are feeling better. I just signed on for the first time in a few weeks and was really shocked to read this post.

I've been dragging my feet on getting my annual mammogram ... I'm more than a year overdue ... but I'll be on the phone tomorrow.

Hope you are feeling better and thanks for the reminder... Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Best wishes on a healthy recovery Joanne. Thank you for sharing with your Rennlist family to spread the word on regular checks. It's that important. Boys too! Get in for you regular screenings however inconvenient it is. Take care of you.

Hi All ~

I had a rough night last night, but it's from the side effects of the meds and a terrible headache that I haven't really been able to shake since spending 4 hours on that nasty surgical table and fancy new hospital bed..... yes a fancy bed, but still a hospital bed, with lousy pillows. When my neck gets tweeked, it takes a while for me to get it back to a semblance of normal. I'm getting tired of the nausea but the meds are needed so I'll have to put up with that for another 10 days on these horse pill sized antibiotics. Twice I've choked on them spewing water from my nose. My throat is unusually small for an adult so this is a problem I've had before. I'm going to see if I can change to something a little smaller in size that will also work. I have NO COMPLAINTS about my boob-lettes. That part is going great. My four drains are draining as they are supposed too. They are a necessary pain in the rear. I should be losing two of them tomorrow and will then only have a week to carry around the other two for another week or so. I can't wait to be able to sleep on my side again. That will help my head/neck aches more than anything. Funny as it sounds coffee does help the head, but doesn't help the nausea.

YES I AM BETTER.... just rough around the edges.

Thank you all. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate all the love and prayers and good thoughts. Almost makes me want to cry......
