Wow.... buy it in 1995 for (say) $70,000, keep it 15 years, drive it 500 miles per year and sell it for $43,500.00.

That totally makes sense to me.

Car has a deposit on it. Passed a PPI at Porsche Dealer. Signed title in wrong spot so that is holding up the deal. Don't feel comfortable finalizing deal until title is taken care of.

Why not just post the details here?

I saw that car listed on PP and PMed the person out of curiosity. Apparently the person listing it is not the owner. I can't remember all the details.

this "no affiliation" line is getting old. I think its pretty safe to say that somebody spamming our forum would be blatantly obvious to all of us...

OT, but seeing a Philly craigslist ad reminds me of a good Porsche story, and a warning!
Summer 1986, Saturday morning. I'm working at the Gulf station in the center of Gladwyne (ritzy suburb) with one other 17 year old. A customer drives in with his shiny 928S and wife and kiddies are loaded into the ubiquitous 300TD wagon that follows. They are heading down the shore for the weekend and he wants us to fix the slow leak in his P7. Certainly sir! Once out of sight we plug the tire (!) and proceed to individually burn up the backroads of Gladwyne all morning. I havent been to the area for a while but in those days there were miles of empty 2nd gear roads, stream crossings and hills and humps where you could catch air. I'm pretty sure we got enough heat into the tires to secure the plug.

I have some good gas station stories too. The boss' bong that was kept under the desk in front office was involved...
