Default Fair Price for my 97 C4S

Hello All,

I have been out of the 993 loop for awhile. I am considering outting my car up for sale. What would be a fair price for a quick and pleasant transaction?

Thanks in advance for all your input.

Below are some of the details:

- 97 C4S glacier white
- Approx. 69,000 mi with all scheduled maintenance done.
- New steering rack, brake pads and rotors at 47,000 mi
- All new belts and fan hub bearing at 60k service
- Bilstein HD shocks and ROW springs at 55k mi
- 996 hollow spokes wheels
- No CEL or SAI issue. Valve guide replaced by previous owner
- Some stone chips on the front end but very clean inside and out
- Minor oil leak on the chain cover
- Passed CA smog test Aug. 2011
- I have all records since new

Your at the 70K mile mark, but great color and the valve guides are done ... I'd say $45-48K.

low 40s. Makes me feel really good on what I paid for Paul To`s 4S 2.5 years ago. It is almost like winning in a lottery. One of those to good to be true deals. Similar car but PSS9 with RS sways and drop links, short ratio box with RS clutch and flywheel from Rothsport, 996 3 spoke. Even the top end was rebuilt with all the good stuff. GL with the sale. The car will find a new good home!

KBB has your C4S in 'good to very good' condition listed for $43,000 - $44,000 in a 'private party' transaction. Each zip code can be different so plug in yours to see what other people will be seeing when you list it. www.kbb.com GLWS!!

+ 1 for the sub $40,000 figure. It depends how long you want to try to sell it for.

Great looking car! I would like to see it sell for 50k but I think 38k to 40k is more realistic. Good luck!
