Fell in love with a new 993
So I went to see a low mileage 993 Silver/Black - 14,000 miles..Sports seats, @ owners...Motor Sound and a bunch of other options.....wow...she is lovely - but since there was snow I didnt drive her home...attached are 3 photo's at the shop..named New 993...The interior is just fantastic....PSS9 Bilsteins
Hopefully this attachment works.....
Now I have to sell my existing 993 - Silver/Grey - 25,000 miles - pristine...I will post a full for sale package soon with price...but I have attached some photos' in my garage....named old 993
Bring on spring!

Previous owner's thinking is impeccable: Buy a 993, check. Put coilovers on it, check. Wash, clean, maintain, check. Don't drive it at all (well, 1K or less a year)... WHY?

The why is that I have no commute, I won't drive it in the snow or the rain and I won't drive it on short trips or to places where I don't want to park it. The result is that I get to drive it a half dozen times a month just for fun (in season)...but I don't have the time for more. The car is maintained perfectly...I just am not able to drive it as much as I would like to. Kids, other hobbies, boat, etc. all eat away at the day...but I couldn't imagine not having it so there you go.

DC, i understand the concept. I just don't subscribe to it, that's all.
Interestingly, I haven't had to commute since buying my first 993 in January 2004, exactly 8 years ago. Plus I've spent at least a year and a half since then in Europe and a few month outside of Boston without a P-car. And I've always had one or two cars in addition to 993s in those 8 years. Nevertheless I've put something like 40K miles on the pair of 993s in that time. Which I still think is ridiculously low. That's how I enjoy cars.
