I fell on some tough times in 03 and sold my first 993 that was difficult for me. I just bought my current
993 last year. I understand completely. GLWS

If it were a year or so later I would be very interested. Alas, not near ready yet...
Great price, especially given the previous work.

Sorry for the situation Don, good luck to you!

Perhaps you could part with a spare kidney instead?

Seriously, sorry about the job. I've been there, and it's no fun...but not necessarily as hideous as they say, if you won't let it. Best of luck in finding a new gig.

Nice car. Good luck with the sale.

OT: I'm looking for a couple of mechanical and electrical engineers at the moment...although you'd have to trade in your surfboard for skiing equipment as my plants are in Connecticut and Maine!

And the people who believed they could afford a house with a debt to income ratio about of 10 to 1....then wonder why they are under water and take part in the moral hazard.

GUYS, Thanks for all the kind notes, I really appreciate it.
JUST FYI, I’m a General Manager //Plant Manager // Production Manager type. I’ve been running Manufacturing operations for many years in both the Automotive and Aerospace industries. If you know of openings in So-Cal please send a PM.
Honesty, I’m thinking about moving to a less stressful occupation. Maybe, Production Planning, Procurement, or Quality Manager as I have experience with all. Who knows, all I know for sure is, I’m not ready to retire just yet.

Don,
The manufacturing company I work for has operations all over. I don't know about SoCal, but possibly...There's a job search tool under "careers." www.Jabil.com
