Matt,
They all look pretty nice. While it is well know black 993 are much faster, I must admit they are a PIA to keep clean. The black one does have some very tasteful modifications, but be careful and make sure they are the modifications you want. For example if you want PSS10s or Koni shocks the white one might be a better choice because the suspension appears stock.

Are you taking leave in CA en route to FLKS? How do you plan on getting the car from CA to FLKS?

See you this summer,

Hey joe,

I'm torn because I love the look and setup of the black car but love the convenience of maintaining white and it's clean interior (atcually white was my first choice when starting my search). The issue with the white car is that it is on it's original clutch and doesn't have a complete mnx history like the black one.

As for transportation...I don't report to FLKS until June so I was going to truck the car to San Antonio until I get stateside...prob is..quotes are $1000-$1400!

Pls check your PM.

Matt,
The orginial clutch is not really a bad thing. If it is healthy, no problem. If not the RS flywheel and clutch are an easy upgrade.

Is Achidemictechs 993C2S still for sale? If it is then I would have you look at that one as well. 100K miles with a top end done at 70K, great suspension and tasteful upgrades.

For $35K you could have an "S"

If white was your 1st choice I would lean more towards that one.

Later on down the road it's easy to add performance upgrades etc. But changing the color isn't so easy!

You will be looking at the car, sitting inside driving it so make sure your happy with the color combo.

Good luck!

Mine has 83k, with lots of winter driving.
Roads are sanded, and often covered with pea gravel, yet the front has very few chips.

The silver wasn't too bad, but the '83GR seemed soft; and the primer was white, so every chipped showed.

I read somewhere that white is the factory race color.

Gordo
