Slate Gray, both non-metallic and metallic, remains my favorite Porsche color.

Or was that 1970s Oak/1980s Forest Green Metallic? Or Irish Green...or...

That 3rd pic above as an essence of green in the paint...I'd have to see it in person to give my verdict.

I have a 928 in Granite Green. In most light, it is a beautiful shade of grey, as depicted here. Only around noon, during the brightest part of the day, does the granite color appear.

I am also a big fan of Slate Gray. I considered getting it on my Boxster, but it was a $3K special order paint at the time I spec'ed my 986S.

Hope you can find a 993 in SG..

Regards,

Rick

How about a pic of a slate gray longhood and a 993 Sorry about the bad cell phone pic. I would love to have a slate gray 993 but I really prefer the non metallic of the earlier color. Since it wasnt available on the 993 (as far as I know) the metallic slate would rock!

I know where there is a 1995 993 Slat Grey Metallic, but it has grey interior.

If you are interested, send me a private message and I can tell you more about it first hand.

Maz's (P1CR's) right? Remember when he bought that car stock and spent a lot of time and money doing the upgrades incl the alcantara interior. Amazing car.

That was a really bad situation, esp since it seemed like an inside job. Have there been any developments since?

Made me think of Maz's car...so it IS Maz's car. Very well done, and very much missed I am sure.

Awful!
