Yesterday, Wes from Titan Motorsports come over from Orlando and spent the afternoon shooting some real "artsy" pictures. I thought some might like to review their blog which is linked below.

ble2011 "It takes some cojones to do this to a perfectly good 993."

I differ, it was a perfectly normal looking 911 that now is like very few in the United States as this is only the 4th 993 in the entire Country. Now its Perfectly Unique.

Did'nt mean to offend. I agree, you have one unique machine and I would be proud to own it.

The fit and finish seemed perfect....except for a slightly larger than the rest gap on the front passenger flare directly below the side marker.

Sorry....when everything else is perfect, the small imperfections stick out.

Chad,
I think the car look brutal. In a good way! Looking forward to the next pics.

On a related note, how does he protect the raw steel at the cut lines from rust/corrosion?

What are the RWB parts made of? Steel fenders and polyurethane for the bumpers? Fiberglass? I think it's awesome that he put together a kit (wheels, exhaust, tail, bumpers, fenders) to standardize the process, and the fit and attention to detail is

There have been so many acerbic posts in past RWB threads here on RL, I'm surprised to see all the praise. I'm glad though!!! It's looking really good Chad! I want to see a shot from the back with the RS wing at some point. Good luck with the rest of the build.

ble2011...no offense, didn't mean to come off as offended, just that it was now different than all the other 993.

I'm also pleasantly surprise by all the positive input. After reading all the negative reaction in earlier RWB posts. But maybe everyone has adopted the old adage, if you can't say something nice don't say something at all. If so, thank you to everyone.

I'd like to get some video today and post later.

.
Speaking for myself, I think that the earlier outcry on the RWB posts had to do with the convertible conversion which IMO looked just plain wrong. RWB conversions are not for everyone but I feel that some look infinitely better than others and that was the case back then and now. If you search this board a couple of years ago or so if memory serves correctly there was another RWB post which gathered pretty positive feedback.

In your case, you have a coupe, the color is perfectly suited for this conversion and the end result just looks the business. A bit outrageous and wild in a good way. If your car was painted a cheesy color with chrome wheels, I would have had a different opinion on the conversion

Enjoy it in good health.

Well, now that it looks bad ***, time to get to work on propulsion; otherwise you will be open to "all hat and no cattle". This build will require a lot of power to back up it's looks.
Congrats on your courage.

absolutely awesome.... love it. I might raise the uprights on the wing a tad (will make the wing a bit more functional and get it up into cleaner air).
