Talking Reserved parking: Riviera Blue Speedster

Arena993 (Mike) considered converting his Rivi Blue Cabriolet into a Speedster.

Opo (Rudy) now has the opportunity with his 'new' RB cab

...and this thread is reserved to park it here when the fun begins!

Take your time, Opo - whenever you're ready, so are we

While Opo thinks about it; some of Mike's thinking, from the "Riviera/Turquoise/Mexico Blue picture thread," etc:

Rudy's righteous new ride, from CamsPorsche's "new setup" thread, etc:

LMAO! Someone's eager to have a Speedster friend...haha.

I will admit that it would be cool for someone to do a Rivi Blue Speedster...

There may be a few "someones"
A Rivi Blue cab is beautiful in its own right, but like JPP wrote...

Thanks for the parking spot and the pictures, man all this pictures just makes me want to fly home tomorrow
It looks like we are heading that direction (speedster) but not 100% sure yet, let's just save the parking and we will see what happens

What is the overall cost for the speedster modification?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it.

Ohhhhhh....... this will be fun!

Some options Rudy: Rivera Blue-backed Recaro Pole Positions (or 993 RS specific items if you can find them).

RH 3.6 Turbo wheels (weekend), 996 Turbo hollow-spokes in matt black with RB stripe (Monday-Wednesday), 996 Turbo hollow spokes in "hyper silver" (Thursday-Friday). Day to day wheel choice is of course mood-sensitive.

G50/31 Gearbox

Perhaps ship the motor to 9M for "a wee bit more" power.

993RS steering wheel (if you don't mind deleting the driver's airbag).

can't believe that Mike pulled out the RB HB's before selling...

Did I miss a bunch of threads regarding the aforementioned parting and selling?

Joe, he had taking off the seats way before he offered for sale and I don't think he started a thread, some guy started a thread about looking for a 993 cab and mike offered to him and the guy passed because he was looking for a low mile car, mike was very helpful telling me everything about the car and he's a straight up guy the car came with the RV jack stands, car cover, bra and mirrors protector and the battery thingy, to keep the battery charge I'm very happy with the car and I haven't even seen it in person but I'm at PEACE because it came from a great guy, as for the SPORT SEATS, you know it would not be with out them for long, i DO NOT allow any of my 993's without SPORT SEATS in my GARAGE

Rudy don't let these guys pressure you into the candy store of Speedster conversion if this Riviera is mint mint mint. Being a uber rare color it might be a shame to convert it.

Perhaps consider buying a donor car if you want to go down this route...hard call either way!

Don't let the pier pressure get to you. You have an awesome piece of Porsche history there in your garage. No need to blow the $50-100k or whatever it takes to convert it into a custom something or other.

Do something crazy with the money instead, like maybe helping needy children, I don't know.
