Default Remote control for trunk latch?

Anyone know of an aftermarket remote for the front boot? I would use it a ton more if I didn't have to reach in and pop the hood.

993s should not have a remote control for the trunk latch.

Geolab - I think you need to change the batteries in that remote just to be safe. and of course I'd be glad to do that for you - knowing your limited technical abilities, etc!!!

Call the factory. I'm sure the special wishes dept at Porsche would be happy to oblige, perhaps while you're on the line you can have them quote out illuminating door sill logos too.

Geo,

We can assume that this photo was taken outside your small flat in Paris?

Thought I'd update, since I sent a note to GeoLab.

I finally got it done. I put a push button switch inside the right air duct (which replaced the fog lamps). The push button is connected to an electric solenoid and to the immobilizer. When the immobilizer is set (i.e., car locked) the button doesn't work. When I unlock the car, the button is active. When I push the button, the hood latch opens. One of my favorite modes so far, but I am sorta basic. Also in contention for my favorite mod is a resistor inserted in the seat belt warning connection under the seat of my Cayenne = no more incessant seat belt dings. Also, a favorite 993 mod is one-touch window express.

All the other mods were work.

Please send more details. Maybe a DIY write-up?
