Sorry Edward but the battery guy was right. Replacing your battery does reset the "readiness indicators" of the OBDII system. We have several threads on here covering the "BMW OBDII Drive Cycles", I'll link to one of them in a few min.

You should be able to get the radio code from Loren on Renntech.org. For paid members.
Or check the white options sticker under the front hood. Sometimes people/mechanics hand write the radio code there.

I just went through the readiness code hell. The drive cycle is not easy to do. It took me two tries and running a couple of stop signs. You have to have an area of road where you can drive without interruption. A track would be the best place

Should have done this first. It was written on the sticker. Now I have to wait for the WAIT to disappear. Thanks again!
