$120,300

That's awesome

As the kids get ready for school next week and I prep the RB cab for storage until May 13, I do pause to think.

Not for me to judge. His car, his decision, I have better things to concern myself with.

This the same spammer who used the name "ClaraJohnson" a few days ago. https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...ml#post9739221

A quick check of his posts shows that he answers with near monosyllabic words such as "bump", "agree", "thumbsup", "support", etc., just like Clara did. A latent hyperlink (I will not post it here and have deleted it in the quoted text) is embedded in the responses if you do a search on his posts, but the links are not visible or active when you look at the actual posts in a thread. (If you quote his post, the link will appear in the quoted text.)

Mods, please remove this post? Also, can you block the IP address to try to get rid of this lowlife? Thank you.

Why is it bad if he (DALLWA) buys cars, drives them and resells them when he wants a different one? Not everyone can buy one car and be happy forever. Some people need to sell them and move to the next one. If he can buy them right and sell them for a fair price and make a profit who cares? If I was Tony I would have already had the RB cab on ebay. As much as I love my white car, I would sell it in a minute for the right price. I would then look for a white TT. And when I was done with that one I would sell it and buy whatever I wanted next.
Im a 48 y/o guy that has had 7 porsches and about 30 BMW's. I dont buy them to sell them. I buy them, my ADD kicks in and I want something else so I change focus. Ultimately I sell one and buy another. Maybe Im out of line but I dont think what Tony does is a bad thing. I think it is just a car guy trying to experience as much porsche fun as possible and trying to do it in a way that makes sense. Now if he was dishonest or trying to cheat people, that would be a different story. From what I have seen, he has been very open about it. Just my .02.

I suspect both Maaco and formerly Earle Scheib (which ceased operations September 2010) will be doing more business on color changes.

I don't think the high bidder will pay for the car. Alot of BS going on with those bids plus complaints filed with ebay.

Agreed. The ad was fraudulent from the get-go. It was first reported as such to eBay last week.

I predict a relist and one devoid of unsubstantiated claims and falsehoods.

I highly doubt the car sells for that price, high bidder will mysteriously disappear, will be sold outside of ebay for a more realistic price.
