Ken, I got the SSK and cut off the top of the shifter 1 1/4 inchs. Good

Really an easy job, especially if your parts are out of the car.

not likely
your shifter bolts directly to the Big Black Tube = better shift feel than C2S config.
wevo = engine mounts, not shifter related.
