OT: Support my Whitehouse Petition to end 25 year rule for non federalized car import
Please take a look and support my petition to scrap the 25-year rule for non-federalized car importation. Ever dreamed about importing a non-conforming car? Its possible but very expensive to do so. With the differences between the different standards getting more minimal, it would great for enthusiasts to be able to import with minimal hassle, and modifications the car of their choice. 25 years is too long!

30 days to collect 100,000 signatures seems like a very high bar to clear without mass media but if enough people share and retweet this, maybe we can reach that goal.

Spread the word. Does anyone know any journalists of motoring magazines to pass this along to? Someone along the lines of an American Jeremy Clarkson?

I saw that on TTAC and wondered if it's someone from here. I don't think I can sign living outside the US but keep my fingers crossed.

It is me that started it! I drafted the petition and TTAC was one of the first places that picked it up. I think he even shows a shot of my 993 in it. I'll see if BAT and Hooniverse will x-post.
